HYPNOTHERAPY

"Research shows that there is more scientific evidence for Hypnotherapy than any other Complementary Therapy ... by using hypnosis people can perform amazing feats of will-power and self-healing."

Hypnosis is very a powerful tool for helping to improve depression and anxiety states. It is a normal and natural state of mind, in fact we all enter hypnotic trance states on average every 6-7 minutes per day, and is a very pleasant and relaxing experience, similar to deep concentration.

Suggestion Therapy is a traditional treatment used to help with problems such as smoking, nail-biting etc. it makes use of the mind's heightened awareness and susceptibility to beneficial suggestions in order to make changes. This type of therapy generally takes one or two sessions. Stop smoking treatment takes just one appointment.

Solution Focused Brief Therapy uses the best of Solution focused brief therapy (SFBT), Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) to help people make positive changes in thier lives in a relatively short period of time. It uses our own subconscious resources to help us achieve those things in life that we want to achieve.

Hypnotherapy is recognised as one of the most successful treatments, ( sometimes in conjunction with medication from the GP) for depression and anxiety, panic attacks, IBS and other stress related issues.

We use relaxation techniques for stress management conditions along with suggestion techniques and psychotherapy. The average length of treatment varies but is generally under twelve sessions.

Self confidence hypnotherapy and self-esteem hypnosis treatment help us to move forward with our lives in a positive way.
Minor phobias such as spiders, water, fear of flying, public-speaking etc can be cured quickly, generally in three to four sessions. Painful memories and traumatic experiences can often be dealt with in the same way.

The use of CD's is an important part of therapy. It continues to focus the mind, and provides solutions between sessions.

It is advisable, except where stop smoking hypnotherapy is concerned, to have a
free consultation to discuss the issue and to help decide the appropriate method of treatment.
